ボブ・ディラン『ブートレッグ・シリーズ１～３集』アナログ盤1991年発表。大きな話題を呼んだボックスセットが遂にLPになって登場する。収録された58曲は発表当時全て未発表で貴重なものばかりで、ディランのキャリアを語る上でかつてない程、大きな追補となった。収録されたのは1961年から1989年にかけての約30年に渡る間に録音された音源で、年代順にまとめられた。中には非公式な海賊盤として知られた曲もあったが何故正式に発表されなかったのか理解出来ないほど優れた歌が並んでいる。全体的にみると60年代の粗削りな作品群が今作の魅力の一つになっているが、80年代にかけての中にも優れた歌が多く、特に83年作「ブラインド・ウィリー・マクテル」をディランの最高作とする人もいる。付属の69ページブックレットには、未発表写真、レコーディング・データ、コメント等も収録され、この作品の価値を一層高めています。
