1960s Scottish Military Ceremony Trouser

1960年代頃のRoyal Regiment of Scotlandのセレモニーパンツになります。

比較的多く流通している近年のものはフロントがファスナー仕様なので、ボタンフライのこちらはかなり希少です。
 
後年のものとは異なるサイドシームなしの筒型設計。立体的で綺麗なシルエットです。
 
とても風合いの良いウールフラノ生地で、スコットランド連隊の他のチェック柄より現代の洋服と合わせやすいブラックウォッチ。緑・黒・青の色3色を基調としたダークトーンの柄なので極めてシックな印象。一歩間違えると子供っぽいイメージのあるチェック柄ですが、ブラックウォッチであれば難なく大人っぽいスタイリングへと導けます。
 
バックポケットとベルトループはなく、サイドのアジャスターでの調整。前合わせはボタンフライト、裾はオリジナルのモーニングカット仕様。
 
似たものは数ありますが、本物のスコットランドのハイランドドレスの伝統的なタータントラウザー。本当に素晴らしい一本です。アナトミカやキャプテンサンシャインがサンプリングしているのも納得です。
 
Condition - ウールの損傷もなく綺麗な状態です。タグの状態からデッドストックと推測します。

ユーロミリタリーはドイツ軍、イタリア軍、オランダ軍、ベルギー軍、スウェーデン軍、ロシア軍、チェコ軍、スイス軍などが流通していますが、デザインや縫製、生地の質、現代のファッションとしても通用する完成度という意味では、やはりイギリス軍とフランス軍でしょう。

 ヘリル、LENO、ナイジェルケーボン等などもユーロミリタリーをデザインソースとしており、アメリカ物にはない品の良さが魅力。
