Imperial Glass Company Katy Blue

１９３０年代に発表されたKatyを代表する色とフォルムです。画像９枚目のDepression Glass事典にも、１０枚目のOpalescent Glass事典にも掲載されているオパルセントグラスです。 
太陽光に当てた時は縁周りが煌めいて不思議な色を見せてくれます。室内で見る色も上品でとても美しい、ディプレッショングラスを代表する存在です。 
裏返した時の底部にまで細工を凝らした逸品。運良く出会えたこちらの品は、幸いなことにキズも欠けも無い完品でした。 
贅沢ですが、アメリカではベリーなどのフルーツを盛って使うそうです。
