【特徴】: 2000年代にBURTONとApple共同で開発されたされたAmpというモデルです。
Burton Ampは、iPod専用につくられた、防水加工を施した耐久性の高いゴアテックスのスノーボード用ジャケットです。Burton Ampを着用しiPodを使うと、ファスナーを外したり、手袋を脱いだり、ポケットの中を探す手間をかけることなく、ジャケットの袖から簡単に音楽をコントロールできます。
Burton Amp、SOFTswitchテクノロジーを使ってiPodコントロールシステムをジャケットに組み込み、袖の部分に直接取り付けたソフトで柔軟なコントロールパッドでiPodをコントロールできます。ジャケットの袖のコントロールパッドに触れるだけで曲や音量を変えることができ、iPodはジャケットの胸ポケットの安全な場所にしまっておくことができます。繊維を3層に重ねたGORE-TEXが使用されたBurton Ampは防水加工され、縫い目がテープで綴じられており、洗濯機での洗濯が可能です。
